I once had this pair of jeans that I cut off at the knee. I washed them, and the ends frayed, strings hanging down, white where they were once blue, uneven where they were once seamless.
Unfortunately, that has nothing to do with this blog.

When you're crying:
An okay friend will pat your hand.
